Moving from Moneyhub

Updated 21 October 2026

Moneyhub closed its consumer app on 14 August 2026 to focus on its work with businesses. If you used it to keep track of your money, here's how to set up the same picture again in MoneyGlass.

One difference to know first

Moneyhub connected to your bank accounts. MoneyGlass doesn't, by design. You enter your regular figures once, and record spending by typing it in or importing a statement that's read on your own device. If an automatic bank feed is essential for you, MoneyGlass may not be the right fit. If you're happy to spend a few minutes a week on it, read on.

What to set up, in order

  1. Income and payday. Your take-home wages, any extra income, and the day you're paid. MoneyGlass moves payday for weekends and bank holidays.
  2. Bills. Your regular bills and the day each leaves your account, plus annual costs like insurance.
  3. Debts. Cards and loans with their balances and rates, to see a payoff plan.
  4. Savings and net worth. Savings accounts, ISAs, investments, pensions and property values, tracked month by month.
  5. Spending. Start from today. Import a recent statement (PDF, Excel or CSV from your bank) to fill in the current month.

If you saved your Moneyhub data

Moneyhub let users download their data as a spreadsheet before the closure. It's a useful reference for your bills, balances and past spending while you set things up. MoneyGlass can't import that file directly, so use your bank's own statements for spending.

MoneyGlass is not connected to or endorsed by Moneyhub. Details of Moneyhub's closure are from its own announcement. General information, not financial advice.
